Wise (formerly TransferWise) is one of the most popular and cost-effective ways to send money internationally. If you have placed an order on OnlineMeds and selected Bank Transfer as your payment method, this guide walks you through how to complete your payment using Wise — with two options depending on what your country supports.

Before You Start

After placing your order, OnlineMeds sends you an order confirmation email containing your Order ID. You must use this as the payment reference so our team can match your transfer to your order.

Wise supports UPI (Unified Payments Interface) transfers to India in many countries. UPI transfers typically arrive within minutes and require no IFSC or SWIFT code.

Step 1: Create or Log In to Your Wise Account

Go to wise.com and sign up for a free account (or log in if you already have one). Wise is available in over 80 countries. You will need to verify your identity the first time — this usually takes a few minutes with a passport or driving licence.

Step 2: Start a Transfer to India

Click Send on the dashboard. Enter the exact amount from your OnlineMeds order and select India (INR) as the destination. Wise shows the mid-market rate and fees clearly before you confirm.

Step 3: Select UPI as the Delivery Method

When Wise asks how to deliver the money, choose UPI. Enter the recipient UPI ID exactly as shown below:

UPI ID9560209793@hdfc
Recipient NameINDOGENMED
Payment ReferenceYour Order ID

Step 4: Review and Confirm

Wise shows the amount, fees, rate, and estimated delivery. Confirm the transfer and pay via your bank card or local account. UPI transfers typically arrive within minutes to a few hours. Once funds clear, your order moves to Processing.

Option B: Pay to Our Bank Account

If UPI is not available in your country on Wise, use the bank account details shown on your order confirmation page. You only need the account number and IFSC code — no SWIFT code is required when using Wise for India. Always include your Order ID in the reference field.

Bank transfers via Wise typically take 1–2 business days to arrive in India.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Wise safe to use?

Yes. Wise is regulated in each country it operates in (FCA in the UK, FinCEN in the US) and is used by over 16 million people globally. Funds are held in ring-fenced accounts.

Do I need to contact OnlineMeds after I pay?

No — as long as your Order ID is in the payment reference, our team matches it automatically. For UPI, this is usually within minutes. For bank transfers, allow 1–2 business days. If your order has not updated within 3 business days, email us at info@onlinemeds.org with your Order ID and transfer receipt.

What if UPI is not available in my country on Wise?

Use Option B (bank account) above, or try Remitly, which also supports UPI to India from many countries.
